In this article, I am gonna explain how you can easily transfer your normal Whatsapp to Gb Whatsapp by following five simple steps including your all data such as Private Chats, Groups, Images, Voice Notes, Videos, etc. Means each and everything you want to get in your Gb Whatsapp so be with us till the end of this article because I am going to let you know a method/trick so that you can recover/restore all your Whatsapp data into Gb Whatsapp.
Step 01: Backup Your Original Whatsapp
You don’t need to backup your chats on google drive, you only have to backup in your local drive. Firstly, you need to open your Whatsapp then click on the three dots option which is available on the upper right corner then go to setting.
Once you reach in setting then click on chats then you will see chat backup option, click on it then you will see the green color backup button, click on it and your data is backup now.
Step 02: Clear Your Whatsapp App Data
Either you can simply uninstall your Whatsapp or clear its data. I am going to let you know how to clear its data. So, keep your finger on your Whatsapp app then you will see two options there, either uninstall or app info, you have to go to the app info option.
You will see a clear data option there, probably at the bottom. Click on it and your Whatsapp data is cleared now. If you don’t see so you may have a storage option, click on it then you will get it. Move on to our third step.
Step 03: Backup Your GB Whatsapp
Now, you have to backup your Gb Whatsapp data. If you don’t have an account in Gb Whatsapp and you have newly installed it, so firstly make an account and follow step no 1 to backup your Gb Whatsapp data as well. We need to backup it because if we don’t backup, we will face some issues restoring our Whatsapp in it. Once you are done backup Gb Whatsapp, then follow step no 2 to clear its data too, after that come to the fourth step.
Step 04: Copy and Paste Your Whatsapp Data File
In this step, you have to get to your original Whatsapp backup data folder, copy it then paste it to the Gb Whatsapp folder. First, you need to seek your file manager (phone storage or local storage) if you already have that’s ok but in case if you don’t have then go to playstore and you can download ES File Explorer then open it.
then scroll down, in the end, you will see a folder named ‘Whatsapp’ go to that folder.
then go to the ‘Databases’ folder
and there if you see one file copy it and if you see more than one file copy the latest file by date or last file which would be the latest file.
After doing this in the file manager you will see the ‘Gb Whatsapp’ folder as well before or after the ‘Whatsapp’ folder. Go to the ‘Gb Whatsapp’ folder then go to the ‘Databases’ folder and delete all files which are available there and paste the file which you previously copied from the ‘Whatsapp’ folder. That’s all you needed to do. Get to the last step.
Step 05: Restoring Whatsapp Data in Gb Whatsapp
It’s the last step, now open your Gb Whatsapp click agree and continue then allow all permission then if you see ‘Choose a backup file’ option so choose Gb Whatsapp folder and if you do not see it now, then after entering phone number you will get this option, after selecting Gb Whatsapp backup file, click on restore then enter your phone number and after doing these all thing which you do for Whatsapp account, at last, you will see restore option again.
Click on it and your all data will be restored in Gb Whatsapp successfully.
